    kamusta pala ang presentation mo?

ok lang. kinabahan ako at first. i didn't use a very academic approach like some of the fellows. we discussed our poetics, where we're coming from as writers, problems we've encountered in our work-in-progress. btw, astig si jun cruz reyes. sya ang naging fave kong panelist. :)

katuwa naman! anong sinabi sa'yo ni mang jun? napaginipan ko siya nung isang gabi. binigyan niya daw ako ng seventeen volumes ng historical narrative ng community nila sa bulacan.

sorry for the late reply. matagal-tagal akong di naka-online. nag-marinduque rin ako nitong holy week.

jun cruz and i talked after my workshop and he told me malungkot yung kwento ko. at ang malungkot pa dun, totoo daw yung sinasabi ko. so syempre, i was deeply moved by what he said. sobrang bait nya. today i read a story from his collection 'utos ng hari' and madali syang basahin (nahihirapan kasi akong magbasa ng filipino pag malalim ang tagalog. pero si jun cruz, very colloquial.)

i mentioned you were a friend and that fave mo sya and he said you were too big for the malikhaing pagsulat program in UP. awww. :)

About us

Best described as a Murakami detox support group, we're all fans of the quirkily brilliant Japanese author, Haruki Murakami, and writing about such things as films we've seen recently and books we're reading (not to mention meandering musings on the man's work, of course) helps us to pass time while waiting for the next book from Haruki-baby.
