And I fell in love....and I'm a -

Thanks soo much (we all can't thank you enough) to Jessica and Joe Beduya for the wonderful pasalubongs. The Believer's Slaves to the Visual DVD is wonder-ful(l). SPOILER: One of the short flicks in it, Sweeter as the Years Roll By Pt. 3 (a two-minute Cartesian art flick, dir. Will Rogan) reminded me so much of Poklong's Line Drawing video art (the one with the pencil that won a gawad). This one featured a piece of chalk and a moving escalator railing.

I haven't started leafing through Counterculture through the Ages. Am saving it for Holy Week. Dunno if I can resist.

Hey anyone got Scrubs on DVD? Zach Braff in GS = Yummy Flavor. Thanks, Luis.

About us

Best described as a Murakami detox support group, we're all fans of the quirkily brilliant Japanese author, Haruki Murakami, and writing about such things as films we've seen recently and books we're reading (not to mention meandering musings on the man's work, of course) helps us to pass time while waiting for the next book from Haruki-baby.
