Penguin-Putnam Publishing, National Bookstore, and Anvil Publishing cordially invite you to the launch of Dream Jungle by Jessica Hagedorn November 18, 2003 at 6:00 PM National Bookstore Shangri-La Ms. Hagedorn will be present to sign copies of her book.
She's in town daw to attend the International Women Playwright's Conference in Manila. Incidentally, I very briefly read some parts in a script workshop there last Saturday for an excerpt of this Norwegian Play called Mater Nexus by Lene Therese Teigen last Saturday. Interesting visual aspects of the play on tackling Western Women's human connections. (siempre may critique na vis-a-vis global perspectives and the kinds of problems borne by the rest of the world) Wish I could've seen those visual touches meself, though.

Belated Happy Birthday, Jose!

About us

Best described as a Murakami detox support group, we're all fans of the quirkily brilliant Japanese author, Haruki Murakami, and writing about such things as films we've seen recently and books we're reading (not to mention meandering musings on the man's work, of course) helps us to pass time while waiting for the next book from Haruki-baby.
