weird. i woke up from a blog-based dream this morning. it starred this particular blogger, Z (whose site is my weekly guilty pleasure) and that particular friend-link of Z whom i've never even met in person. they came out with a trade paperback which i bought. then i bumped into their group hanging out at (of all places) the crossing ibabaw overpass as if it was a school corridor. then i felt embarrassed because they saw i bought their book which i tried to hide and i just pretended not to know them.

man, am spending too much time with other people's online minutiae.

i think i am almost detoxified of murakami. am obsessed lately with the task of finishing all these donna haraway mindfuck reads i hoarded from the libe. her and sadie plant and kathy acker, all non-breezy reads. but they do feed me head. i feel so bloated.....

About us

Best described as a Murakami detox support group, we're all fans of the quirkily brilliant Japanese author, Haruki Murakami, and writing about such things as films we've seen recently and books we're reading (not to mention meandering musings on the man's work, of course) helps us to pass time while waiting for the next book from Haruki-baby.
